John is allowed to see the seven seals being broken by the Lamb of God and the resulting events of the broken seals. Six of the seven seals are opened in Revelation six, four of them deal with the four horsemen of Revelation.

Also, I just want to say that as I was first teaching the Book of Revelation that for whatever reason I could not stop calling the Book of Revelation the Book of "RevelationS." So annoying I apologize, but even though it was crammed into on half of an hour it was good basic teaching of the sixth chapter of the Book of RevelatioN.
