The transfer is coming
1 Samuel 1,2
1 Samuel 1:9-18 - And the Church, Government, and the people were never the same,
This transfer is coming again, and to the "barren" Church who has been mocked by her rival I say Isaiah 54. Isaiah 54 was written right before Israel was to be taken into captivity for 70 years, so the promise was to a future generation, verses 11-17 speak to a generation way far off all the way to our time in history.
As I see the Church of the end times beginning to stand up and form I feel like Hannah did in 1 Samuel chapters 1 and 2, like I am praying for the "baby" to be born while our rival taunts us with a work that has not walked in true faith but in faith of the works of their own hands and own ability.....This morning as I was reading Hannah's worship, praise, and prayer after God had fulfilled His promise to her. I was greatly encouraged by the truths in what she is saying. The time has come for the baby to be didcated to the Lord for life. It is time for Phineas and Hophni to be removed, and Eli to be removed as well, it is time for Judges to be turned into Kings, for the line of Aaron to be transferred to Zadok, and for the Old line of Prophets to be replaced with the new, the new prophets being the ones who aren't just prophecying over the people but also announcing the coming of the Messiah, prophets who were persecuted by men but whom God used to announce His Word to His People and to announce the coming of the King.....It's just about time to turn Hannahs prayer into a song.... And BTW...This song isn't a soft sweet tune....It should shake the ground wherever it is sung, and Heaven should be filled with our worship and praise for the marvelous things God is doing and about to do.
1 Samuel 2:1-10 - “My heart rejoices in the Lord;
My horn is exalted in the Lord,
My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies,
Because I rejoice in Your salvation.
There is no one holy like the Lord,
Indeed, there is no one besides You,
Nor is there any rock like our God.
Do not go on boasting so very proudly,
Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth;
For the Lord is a God of knowledge,
And with Him actions are weighed.
The bows of the mighty are broken to pieces,
But those who have stumbled strap on strength.
Those who were full hire themselves out for bread,
But those who were hungry cease to be hungry.
Even the infertile woman gives birth to seven,
But she who has many children languishes.
The Lord puts to death and makes alive;
He brings down to Sheol and brings up.
The Lord makes poor and rich;
He humbles, He also exalts.
He raises the poor from the dust,
He lifts the needy from the garbage heap
To seat them with nobles,
And He gives them a seat of honor as an inheritance;
For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s,
And He set the world on them.
He watches over the feet of His godly ones,
But the wicked ones are silenced in darkness;
For not by might shall a person prevail.
Those who contend with the Lord will be terrified;
Against them He will thunder in the heavens,
The Lord will judge the ends of the earth;
And He will give strength to His king,
And will exalt the horn of His anointed.”

A few observations….. Notice the baby had to be weaned before being given to the sevice of the Lord....Samuel had to be weaned from "milk" and would have been able to eat the meat given to Priests.... The name Samiel means, "God has heard" and as far as Phinehas and Hophni...well....the Word of God speaks about them in 1 Samuel 2:12.
Samuel will be ministering in the Temple and he will sleep before the presence of the Lord and at a young age God will speak to him and God's Words will come to pass, Samuel will anoint many and God will use this generation to announce, "prepare the way of the king, make His paths straight!"
