Gods will or mine?
"OK Lord, your not answering me and doing what I want, so I'll slip away for a minute, take charge of the situation, get what I want and then tell you about it when I'm done so that you can bless it."
We've all done it before and if we paid attention we found out that we created a huge mess trying to "fix a problem."
God won't be manipulated and He isn't going to wink at willful disobedience, this is where we might end up in the Hebrews 12 woodshed.
I still do it at times and the worst thing that can happen to me is when God allows me to succeed in my plan...But it doesn't take long for the chickens to come home to roost and the situation I tried to fix becomes four or five new issues that I really need to trust God to fix.
The best way forward is to seek His will and purpose and do that. It might seem harder or not to make as much sense as my plan that I hatched with limited human understanding, but at least you end up in the right place at the right time doing the right thing.
