Discouragment in the house? (A Bible Study)
Discouraged because your genuine walk with Christ and your believing in His Word has drawn critisism, ridicule, or misunderstanding from worldly "Christians?" Here is a daily Bible study to encourage you to keep going!
Matthew 5:11-16 - Keep in mind that the word "blessed" means "happy." The "rejoice and be glad" part is our instructed response.
It's not fun to be attacked for your faith but wallowing in the misery of it isn't the answer.
Matthew 10 - Discipleship training from Jesus - And understand who it is that will come against you...Its ok, follow Jesus and know that our joy comes from Him not from this world or those people.
James 1:1-12 - Consider it all joy!
Hebrews 12:5-11 - Without the discipline of the Lord we are actually illigitimate Children but because of it we are Sons.
This is a hard season for many as there has been a dividing through the whole Church before the move of God comes. God is separating His Church from their sin and their strongholds and if anyone wants to hang onto their sin and strongholds then they will be removed with their junk. Dont be surprised when those who love their junk attack you because you call the junk evil and want to be separated from it. Of course they will reject you...Wipe away the tears and put on your dancing shoes, there is a move of God coming and we have better things to do than to worry about what somebody else thinks.
If they call you a false prophet..rejoice...it's actually a great honor...If they gossip about you...It's ok they did it to Him too...If you lose a job because of the Gospel, then know that your ministry there is done and God is giving you a promotion and a new mission field.
It's time to learn to dance in the rain, because even though there is a move of God coming it will come with opposition, resistance, and even persecution, just like the first Church that Jesus began Himself.
We are on the team that celebrates before the final score because we have already won.....REJOICE!!!
